- FOXY is a earlier variety in comparison to many others, to secure forage yields.
- In favorable conditions, it continues to provide a high amount of biomass during the summer with leafy regrowth, offering grazing opportunities (unlike Mediterranean tall fescues that are also early but become dormant in thesummer).
A persistent and consistent variety:
- FOXY is a temparate-type variety and therefore has excellent winter hardiness.
- It is also very drought tolerant.
