Les bénéfices en détail

Reduced sowing rate

- The combination of TONUS and BORFURO allows the sowing rate to be reduced by 40% compared with pure forage rye.
- Furthermore, this combination promotes biodiversity and complementarity between species.

Enhanced ground cover

- The Chloro-lter METHA SEIGLE provides stronger ground cover than pure forage rye. It thus protects the soil from erosion, leaching and weed growth.
- It also helps regulate the climate by storing carbon and limiting greenhouse gas emissions.

Flexibility in sowing dates

- This mixture offers flexibility in sowing dates, which can range from 10 September to 1 October. It is therefore adaptable to weather conditions and crop rotations.

Improved lodging tolerance

- The TONUS and BORFURO varieties are more resistant to lodging than pure forage rye. They therefore make it easier to harvest the cover crop for biomass.
