I. Use of cookies/trackers

What is a cookie/tracker?

A cookie/tracker is a file stored by a server on the User's computer that collects the User's browsing data: some are necessary because they facilitate browsing, while others are used to collect information about the User for targeted advertising.

Cookies/trackers can be “third-party” or ‘internal’:

• “Internal” cookies/trackers are placed by the Site visited by the User, more specifically on the Site's domain. They may be used for the proper functioning of the Website or to collect personal data in order to track the User's behavior and serve advertising purposes;

• “Third-party” cookies/trackers are cookies/trackers placed on domains other than that of the main Website, generally managed by third parties that have been queried by the Website visited and not by the User themselves: these cookies/trackers may also be necessary for the proper functioning of the Site, but they are mainly used to allow the third party to see which pages have been visited on the Site in question by the User and to collect information about them, in particular for advertising purposes.

Cookie management from the management module:

When a User visits the Site for the first time, a web banner appears on the page. The banner informs the User that Cexpérience uses cookies and that Cexpérience links the User to this page. The Axeptio banner allows the User to choose which cookies they wish to accept and which they wish to refuse on the Site. Axeptio is a reliable and secure consent management platform (CMP) that allows the User to easily accept or revoke their consent to cookies on the Website.

To accept or revoke consent to cookies on the Website, the User must follow these steps:

• Cookie banner: When a User arrives on the Website managed by Axeptio, they will see a cookie banner offering them the option to accept or refuse cookies. This banner is designed to comply with cookie regulations, such as the GDPR. The User can click on the options offered to accept or refuse cookies.

• Accept cookies: If a User wishes to accept cookies, they click on the appropriate option in the cookie banner. Once they have accepted cookies, Axeptio records their consent on the Website and stores this information in an online database.

• Revoke consent: If a User wishes to revoke their consent at a later date, they can do so by accessing their web browser settings. They should look for the privacy or cookie options in their browser settings and follow the instructions to revoke their consent.

Managing cookies from your browser software:

A User can configure their browser software so that cookies are stored on their computer (or mobile device, tablet, etc.) or rejected: either systematically or depending on their issuer.

Users are informed that they can oppose the storage of these cookies by configuring their browser software. For information, Users can find the steps to follow to configure their browser software to oppose the storage of cookies at the following addresses:

• Chrome: https://support.google.com/accounts/answer/61416?hl=fr

• Firefox: https://support.mozilla.org/fr/kb/enable-and-disable-cookies-website-preferences

• Safari: http://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/fr-ww/

• Internet Explorer: https://support.microsoft.com/fr-fr/help/17442/windows-internet-explorer-delete-manage-cookies

• Opera: http://www.opera.com/help/tutorials/security/cookies/

If a User decides to disable cookies, they can continue to browse the Website. However, any malfunction of the Site caused by this manipulation cannot be considered to be the fault of the site publisher.

II. Cookies strictly necessary for the site to function

These “necessary” cookies enable the main services of the Site to function optimally. A User can technically block them using their browser settings, but this may impair their experience on the Site.

These cookies make it possible, in particular, to recognize a User, to signal their visit to a particular page and thus to improve their browsing comfort: to adapt the presentation of the Site to the display preferences of their device (language used, display resolution), to remember passwords and other information relating to a form that the User has filled in on the Site. They also enable security measures to be implemented.

These cookies cannot be disabled or configured, otherwise you will no longer be able to access the Site and/or the Site's services. Only the issuer of the cookie concerned is likely to read or modify the information contained therein. Technical cookies are necessary for browsing our site and accessing the various products and services. There are different types of cookies:

III. Audience measurement cookies

Audience measurement cookies are issued by Cexpérience or its technical service providers for the purpose of measuring the audience of the various contents and sections of the Site, in order to evaluate and better organize them.

These cookies also make it possible, where applicable, to detect navigation problems and consequently improve the ergonomics of the Cexpérience.fr services.

These cookies only produce anonymous statistics and traffic volumes, excluding any individual information. They are therefore not personal data. The lifetime of these audience measurement cookies does not exceed 13 months.

Furthermore, Users have the option of objecting to the use of audience measurement trackers that are strictly necessary for the functioning and day-to-day administration of the Site in the cookie management window located at the bottom left of each page of the Site.

IV. Advertising cookies

Advertising cookies are issued by Cérience's advertising partners in the advertising spaces on the Site. The use of these spaces contributes to the financing of the content and services that Cérience makes available to Users free of charge.

These cookies are placed by Cexpérience's partners as part of advertising partnerships under which the advertising agencies may collect data concerning the content viewed on our site, in accordance with the provisions of the amended French Data Protection Act of 1978.

These cookies are used primarily to count the total number of advertisements displayed in advertising spaces, to identify these advertisements, the number of Users who clicked on each advertisement and, where applicable, the subsequent actions taken by these Users on the pages to which these advertisements lead, in order to calculate the amounts owed to the players in the advertising distribution chain (communication agency, advertising agency, distribution site/medium) and to compile statistics.

These advertising cookies also make it possible to adapt the advertising content displayed on a User's device in the advertising spaces on the Site, according to the User's browsing on the Site, or, where applicable, according to the location data (longitude and latitude) transmitted by the User's device and with their prior consent.

Finally, these cookies can be used to tailor the advertising content displayed on the User's device in Cérience's advertising spaces based on personal data that the User may have voluntarily provided (advertising targeting). The lifetime of these advertising cookies does not exceed 13 months.
