This mixture has been designed to allow the legumes to thrive; their complementary nature also enhances disease resistance and pest resistance.
Earliness is achieved through the selection of varieties in mixture and allows the soil to be made available much earlier for subsequent crops.
Excellent feed value:
M-SPEED provides a fodder with a well-balanced energy and protein content (+5 to +15% in UF and PDI) than conventional Italian Ryegrass and helps reduce the amount of concentrate required.
Palatability and digestibility are also improved by Legumes, whilst Italian Ryegrass increases the fodder’s leaf content and thus its UF content.
Great operational flexibility:
M-SPEED is suitable for mowing: diploid varieties of Italian Ryegrass have a higher dry matter content, which improves the drying and storage of the fodder.
When sown early, M-SPEED can be harvested before winter and provide an early silage crop in the spring (from April onwards): thanks to the presence of biennial Italian ryegrass, it can yield a second, very leafy cut.
