Cérience has more than 50 years of experience for seed production. We take action on the conservative selection, the maintenance of parental lines and the multiplication of commercial seeds.

Innovation for better field performance

Cérience has recently set a research & development division dedicated to seeds production. Its goal is to identify and implement the agronomic and technical innovations allowing us to optimise yields but also to develop cultural practices more respectful of the environment and of the biodiversity. 
In partnership with some technical institutes or directly with our customers, we have already introduced some alternative practices: mechanical weed control, cultures under cover, high density seedlings, etc. This research of innovation also incorporates new technologies for precision agriculture and decision support tools, such as irrigation DST,
